The Sephora Holiday Savings Event is one of my favorite sales to shop and it only happens twice a year! So here is how the sale works before we get into it. You must sign up to become a Beauty Insider. It’s free and super simple to do. They track your email and/phone number and you get points. The more points and the more you spend, the higher the status you get and thus the more you get to save during these events. You also get to shop sooner if you are a higher status so if items are a hot ticket, you get access to them first.
And once you become a Rouge member, you also get free shipping on all orders. So you can order one or two things at a time and never pay for shipping. I wasn’t always at Rouge status, but I made a conscious effort to shop more at Sephora and finally reached the higher tier because I wanted the discount during these sales! Here is the breakdown on when and how you can shop:
Rouge status (spend $1000 in a year)- 20% off and can shop 10/30-11/9
VIB status (spend $350 in a year)- 15% off and can shop 11/3-11/9
Insider status (spend under $350 in a year)- 10% off and can shop 11/5-11/9

10 Items Worth Restocking at the Sephora Holiday Savings Event
Most of my makeup are items that I have used for some time now- years even. So today I thought it would be helpful to take you thru those tried and true items that I think are worth re-stocking during the Sephora Holiday Savings Event. Hopefully you can find some new items that you love!
Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum
This is by far the best makeup primer that I have ever used. I bought it during the Spring event and have been hooked on it ever since. I’ve never worn a makeup primer because everything that I’ve tried is silky and gross and makes my skin feel oily or worse, makes me break out. This does none of that. It leaves your skin with this beautiful dewy finish and the makeup attracts to it so well. It’s weird, but it works so good! And my foundation lasts all day.
Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner
Ok, I know this is two items, but its a package deal in my book. This is the best shampoo and conditioner that I have used in a long time. The entire line has done wonders for my hair, especially since I am trying to grow it out. It nourishes my hair, makes it strong and healthy and I’m hooked.
Charlotte Tilbury Blush
I use and love a lot of products by Charlotte Tilbury (this won’t be the only item from her line that you see in this post), but her blushes are the absolute best. They are highly pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. And they actually stay on your face. I always have issues with blushes coming off by mid-day, but with these the color actually lasts all day. I am using shade Sex on Fire right now for Fall/Winter time and its a great pinky/mauve/nude color.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This is and has been my favorite mascara for a few years now. It gives your lashes a huge boost, without looking clumpy. I pair it with this lash primer and wow, my lashes looks so long and thick!
Drybar Dry Shampoo
I absolutely love this dry shampoo because a little goes a long way and it actually soaks up the oils in your hair. I will say, that if you have darker hair, it might be hard to use. It does leave a bit of a white cast, but I just try and mix it into my hair. I didn’t have an issue with it at all when I was more blonde, but now that I’ve gone a little darker, I notice it a bit more. So you just need to rub it in better. Still the best dry shampoo and it smells so good too!
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
This sleep mask is the absolute best thing you can put on your lips. And it’s a must, especially for the winter time. I slather quite a bit on every night and wake up with the most soft lips. It comes in a ton of different flavors too. My most recent one I’ve tried is the Sweet Candy and it smells like cotton candy. And I know it’s called a sleep mask, but I have been wearing it during the day too because my lips have been so dry. I’m obsessed with this stuff!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Foundation
This foundation has been my go to for a year now and it’s exactly what I have been searching for all of these years. I like a little more coverage in my foundation, meaning I want the redness and acne scars to get covered, but I still want to see my skin. This does just that! It is a buildable foundation, so you can do a light layer if you don’t like a heavy coverage. Or keep adding more to your skin and you will get a beautiful heavier coverage look. But even if you apply more, you skin still radiates thru the foundation. And it doesn’t make me break out which is a huge win! I am shade 3 Cool.
Drunk Elephant Babyfacial
This is the only skincare item I’ve added to the list, but it is amazing! I use this mask about twice a week usually and it has done wonders for my skin. It is strong and effective, but still gentle on my sensitive skin. It helps to exfoliate removing fine lines and hyperpigmentation. Everything else that I have tried that is similar is way too harsh for my skin, but somehow they have found the best of both worlds- strong and effective and gets the job done, yet still gentle. If you are also like me who has sensitive skin, give this mask a try. There is also a small, travel size version for only $28 if you don’t want to spend a ton at first.
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector
This under eye corrector is one of those best kept secrets. It helps to brighten your under eye area and makes you look much more awake. I love this stuff. I’m actually going to try and do an Instagram story on this product today so check out my stories. You have to see it to believe it! It makes a huge difference. Most people that I see that use this put it on first before they do their concealer. But I actually put it on after concealer because I think it makes your eyes look a lot brighter. I’m color Light to Medium.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick
See, I told you I love Charlotte Tilbury! I use almost her entire line and I love so many products by her. Her lipsticks are some of the best lipsticks I’ve worn. They have a lot of pigment, so they last. And they are extremely moisturizing. I shy away from anything that dries my lips out because it just doesn’t feel good to me. But these feel like you are wearing chapstick but with color! My favorite color as of lately is Kim K W which is a really pretty nude.
What I Bought at the Sephora Holiday Savings Event
I was actually out of or just about out of a lot of items, so I was waiting for this sale to stock up. The next sale won’t be until Spring time (usually in April), so I like to stock up on items I know I will use. Here is what I bought:
- I am almost out of my setting powder so I bought a new one. This gives you the most natural finish and doesn’t make you feel cakey. It also helps to sort of blend all your makeup together. I use shade Fair.
- This is one of my favorite skincare items that I use. I didn’t think it was doing anything until I stopped using it and noticed a huge difference. It makes my skin more radiant and also helps to get rid of acne scarring faster. I use this only in the morning because it’s a little pricey and I always, always buy it on sale!
- During the sales, I always order something new to try and I wanted to give this eye shadow palette a try. The colors are beautiful!
- I have a love/hate relationship with this body lotion. I love all the ingredients in it and it makes my legs sooooo smooth. But I really hate how you really have to rub it in. Maybe I’m just lazy haha. But here I am on my third tube of this!
- I stocked up on my favorite chapstick– I bought two of these because I go thru them so fast. A must for winter time.
- I’m almost out of shampoo so had to make sure I replenished that too.
- My hair stylist actually told me to buy this hair mask because it really helps with breakage, which I have been having a lot of lately. It helps to keep the bonds strong in your hair so it can grow nice and long and thick! I love this entire line so I already know this will be great.
- I’m not one to be loyal to any eye cream, but I keep going back to this one haha so I guess I’m loyal? I love how thick this one is, so it really helps my dry eyes to stay moisturized. The name is what got me originally and I know this is a great brand (I’ve used Kiehl’s for years).
- I re-purchased this concealer, which is something I’ve used for a while now. It works great for under eye coverage. It is thick, but doesn’t look cakey when applied so very natural looking. I use shade Vanilla.
- I have become obsessed with this makeup setting spray. It melds everything together when you are done applying your makeup. And it just feels nice! I buy the mini bottle and it still lasts a really long time.
- And lastly, I stocked up on my brow pencil. I usually get my eyebrows tinted darker when I get them waxed, so I use this once the dye wears off. I use color Medium Brown.
Well, I know that was a lot haha. Tell me, what you are shopping for during the Sephora Holiday Savings Event?
