One of my most favorite accessories are shoes! They seriously make or break your outfit. Every season I go thru my closet and get rid of some I’m just not feeling anymore. You gotta make room for some new ones! And in Chicago, you know my space is very limited haha. I was browsing Nordstrom’s site a few nights ago and really couldn’t decide on any shoes. Honestly, I liked them all. I thought about going into the store to try them all on. But my dilemma is that half the time they don’t have your size, color you want, etc. etc. So I decided to buy all of them and try them all on in the comfort of my own home! And today, I wanted to share my spring shoe review with you! I told myself I can’t keep all of them, so I will also let you in on what I kept and what I plan on returning.
Soludos Smoking Platform Espadrille
My mom first sent me a picture of these shoes about a year ago that she found on Pinterest and asked me if I knew who made them. I thought they were so adorable, but at the time I had no clue where to find them. And then this year they caught my eye when I was browsing Nordstrom’s site and I remembered them from the picture my mom had sent! After reading reviews, I decided to order a whole size bigger because these run small. And I’m so glad I did because they fit me perfect. It’s hard to tell from the pictures but they are a platform so you get the height while still having the comfort of a flat. They are extremely comfortable and easy to wear!
Verdict: Keeping!

Sam Edelman Mule
I decided I needed to finally try the mule trend and decided to order this pair. I liked that they would be perfect to wear with jeans and also something I could wear to work. They are so comfortable and shockingly, very easy to walk in. I also bought the loafer version (see below) of this style knowing that I would return one of the styles. When I placed my order, I was so indecisive that I just couldn’t decide which pair. And if I didn’t like the loafer so much I would have defiantly kept these.
Verdict: Returning (but only because I like the loafer better-see below)

Treasure & Bond Platform Wedge
I clearly have a thing for white shoes right now. It is such a nice neutral and all of my shoes I own for Spring and Summer are nude, so I thought this color would be another great neutral to add in. These shoes are one of the comfiest wedges I have ever worn! But seriously- they are the perfect height! And at only $80 the price is just right!

B.P. Mule
Still trying to make the mule trend work for me. And after trying these, I’m just not convinced the trend is fully for me. These are adorable on and are actually very comfortable. I did feel like they were a little wide. And like I really had to work to keep these on my feet. I ordered my regular size, but if I were to keep them I would have returned them for a half size bigger. They just recently got marked down so they are now only $50!

Sam Edelman Loafer
These are hands down my favorite purchase of the whole bunch! I love the color white and they make all of my outfits feel so much more springy! And they are so versatile. They are super cute with jeans and I’ve worn them a few times to work already. They come in a ton of different colors and patterns and fit your feet so well. I didn’t have any issues wearing these at all. And they are almost an exact dupe to the Gucci loafer that is at least 9 times more in price!
Verdict: Keeping!
