This might be one of my favorite outfits!! I wore this a few weeks ago to my girlfriends baby shower and I shared it on Instagram here. And I thought it was too cute not share on the blog! I talked a lot about the shower in Monday’s post, so I won’t repeat myself, but the shower was so much fun. I loved seeing my girlfriend pregnant and it was so good to catch up with my of my friends! It’s so funny how times have now changed. The past few years I’ve had more wedding’s, bridal showers and bachelorette parties than I could handle. And now that everyone is married, they are all having kids. I don’t know about you, but baby showers are so much more fun! I love seeing all of the cute clothing and how tiny everything is. My girlfriend is having a girl so everything she got was just so adorable.
Ok, so now onto my baby shower outfit I wore as a guest. Because that is the real important thing here lol. I wanted to keep it simple. And I felt like wearing a dress was a little over the top- I knew this shower would be a bit more casual. I knew I wanted to wear a skirt and I can across this one when I was browsing one of my new fav sites- Tuckernuck. I loved it and also loved the price! It’s only $52!!!! For this event, I didn’t want to spend a lot so I paired it with a top I already had. I could style this top so much because it goes with everything and is so versatile! As for the shoes, I was a little torn. I almost wore this pair, but thought my new white loafers looked so cute with this skirt! This outfit was super comfy and I just think it’s perfect for a baby shower!
