Happy Valentine’s Day! I realize this is probably a little late to be sharing a cute idea for toddler Valentine’s Day cards. But save it for next year! Sloane and I made these cute cards over the weekend for all her friends at school and I’m really excited to pass these out today. They are doing a little party for all the kids and the parents are bringing in treats and they can wear their red, pink and hearts outfits. If it was anything like Halloween, she will come home with a ton of stuff!
This DIY project was really simple and turned out really cute too. And was actually really inexpensive. Everything came under $20! Sloane only has 12 kids in her classroom so I know once she gets into a bigger class size, the price will go up. But I still thought this was a really cute and affordable option for Valentine’s Day. And something toddlers will love! Sloane carrier her rubber duck around all day and loved playing with it in the bath that night.
Here is everything I used to make these toddler Valentine’s Day cards. Some of this I did have on hand so that made the price cheaper too.
- Valentine’s Day tag– printed at FedEx. I also used their paper cutter so the edges would be smooth and straight.
- Rubber Ducks
- Cellophane Bags
- Ribbon– I bought two but had just enough in one.
- Hole Punch– Also, how cute is this heart shaped hole punch?!
