Gifts for the Home
Tea Kettle– Everyone needs a Mackenzie-Childs tea kettle. If you are just starting out with collecting this brand, a tea kettle is the most iconic piece. And I really love the new Sterling Check colorations. Grey is so pretty and will go with so much and so many styles. Plus if you have other collections, the Sterling Check is that anchor that really ties everything together.
Kitchen Towel– I’m dying to try out anything from Weezie and just love their new kitchen towels. How pretty is that blue. Bonus- you can monogram them.
Art– Gray Malin is my favorite photographer. His work is fun and whimsical. This was my first piece I bought from him and it is just so cute! I currently have it in our hallway. There is a little wall and it fits perfectly. I think this is such a fun piece of artwork, plus it is a really great size for gifting.
Book– I recently got this coffee table book and I have been drooling over it. There is so much inspiration in it especially if you are a blue and white lover like myself.
Faux Flowers– I love these little flowers so much. Years ago I bought some for Kurt for one of our anniversries and we still have it. It doesn’t smell anymore but it’s lasted over five years. They look really cute in shelves, on top of books, on your dresser, etc.
Bud Vase– I just adore this bud vase and it’s on my wish list. One of my favorite bloggers did a collaboration with Mackenzie-Childs and this was one of the pieces. Adore it!
Soap & Lotion Set – This is my go to gift when someone buys a new home! I love the smell of this soap and lotion. Plus it looks pretty sitting on your counter.
Rattan Bowl– This would make such a pretty fruit bowl or as a centerpiece for your table. I love the rattan and it’s only $30.
Cordless Lamp– Ok, these are the best lamps ever. I have one that we keep in the kitchen with a really cute rattan lampshade and we turn it on when we don’t want the bright overhead lights on. It gives off a lot of light too. It’s nice that they are cordless and can be moved all over the place. They are also great for hosting outside for a little extra light.
Lamp shade– You gotta add a cute lamp shade to your cordless lamp above and I found this gorgeous light blue shade for only $30. I am kind of shocked at how good of deal that is. You guys know this is one of my favorite colors right now so I’m trying to figure out where I can add this to my home haha.
Picture Frame– I think a picture frame is such a nice gift. Put your kids school pictures in it or your family photos from that year. I own this one and it’s really pretty.
Stocking– These stockings have a story behind them. They are meant to house the last gift of the season. So everyone gets excited for the last gift and it is kind of fun tradition to start. And they are beautiful too!
Scallop Cheeseboard– I adore anything scallop. Perfect for your charcuterie board. You can also have this one monogrammed for a more personalized gift.
Olive Oil– This is a really simple and useful gift. Plus it is something you know they will use! And the bottle is really pretty.
Cheese Knife Set– This knife set is perfect for hosting. One can never have enough knives. I’m always scrambling to find mine when I host.
Tissue Box Cover– I cannot stand tissue boxes. I swear they make them in the ugliest colors and designs. So I have these covers on all of ours around the house. A cute and useful gift!
Apron– I got this apron at my wedding shower and every time I cook, I wear it. Love the color!
