I know this feels incredibly early to be talking about Christmas. But hear me out! I’ve noticed that many retailers launched their Christmas home décor even earlier this year. I don’t know how it keeps getting earlier and earlier. But I am hear for it! It always feels like a made dash to hurry up and buy it before it sells out and then you are in the busy season and not really enjoying it. I really feel like I can browse all my favorite retailers and really get an idea of what I want to purchase this year. And take my time with it.
I’m usually the one who goes straight from Halloween into Christmas mode. Thanksgiving, who? haha. I still celebrate Thanksgiving, but you wouldn’t know it because my home is completely decked out in Christmas. The best year was in 2020 when Halloween was on a Saturday. And the next day was daylight savings, so we gained an extra hour. Well, I spent my extra hour putting my pumpkins away and putting up my Christmas tree! That year was really early. But my birthday is November 11th and I almost always have my tree up by then.
But this year I am second guessing it all. I want to celebrate and cherish all the holidays, including Thanksgiving. So I actually think I am going to wait to put out my Christmas home décor until closer to Thanksgiving. I want to enjoy all the holidays this year with Sloane! And I might have alterative motives because it is going to be a huge pain this year having my tree and Sloane being mobile haha. I know she is going to love it and be so interested in it. And, well, I guess I just don’t want to deal with it until the last possible second.
Every year I like to add a bit here and there to my Christmas home décor. Last year, I bought two of these garlands for my mantle and the matching wreath for my front door. And, let me tell you, it is gorgeous. Almost looks real!
Since we finally had our staircase redone earlier this year, I am really excited to decorate the banister. I bought this matching garland in the extra long which will be perfect for my banister. Then I don’t have to worry about tying two or three together. And I plan to add some red bows and a set of bells. I think it will be really pretty!
I know I love to decorate in blue and white and keep my colors light and bright. But in terms of Christmas home décor, I am all about the red, green and plaid. I love the traditional feel of Christmas. It might not go exactly, but it is classic and it gives my home that warm, cozy feeling for the holidays.
Anyways, here are some collages and my picks from my favorite retailers that sell Christmas home décor. What are you adding to your décor this year?

I really love all of these items, but I did want to point a few things that I think are extra special and unique and that I haven’t seen before. I adore this bow wine collar! Would be so cute as a hostess gift on a bottle of wine. Simple, yet so chic!
I would love to do a blue and white Christmas tree one year and hands down I would choose this ribbon. The color is perfection and the herringbone just makes it so sophisticated.
These bow clip ornaments would also look so precious all over a tree. Would be adorable on a pink tree in a little girls room!
I haven’t seen this wreath yet in person, but the image online makes it look so pretty and real looking. And it’s only $20, so a really great price too.
Lastly, I adore this velvet reindeer. I think I am going to snag a couple for my bookshelves. And they are only $5!
