It’s crazy to think that we have now been in our apartment for two years! I really feel like time has just flown by. I look back at where we started when we first moved in and I’m really impressed with how things have come together. These past two years, I have made it my mission to make this place truly feel like a home….and I think I have succeeded!
I remember moving moving in and this place just felt so big and empty and I hated it! The space was a lot bigger, which has been very much what we needed (especially thankful for all the space this past year during quarantine). But it takes time to buy furniture and decor and I think I have finally have things just where I want them. So that means it’s time to move! Haha just kidding. But that is usually how things go for us!
Anyway, I remember one of the hardest pieces of furniture to buy was a coffee table. There are a million styles, price points, sizes, metal, texture, etc. etc. It felt very overwhelming. I always had this perfect one (I’m dying over this new blue color too!) in the back of my head, but it was wayyyyy more than I wanted to spend. And then I randomly stumbled upon this one during my search and couldn’t order it fast enough.
Sadly for everyone it has been sold out since and I’m really shocked that they have not re-stocked it to be honest. Everyone always asks about my coffee table on Instagram and I always feel so bad that it is sold out because it was a GEM! I have to say that I don’t think its the best quality. It wobbles a little here and there. And the rattan is kind of coming up in places. But for what I paid and based off the super expensive inspiration one I found- it was a steal!
I will say I am really surprised at how easy it is to clean up. When we first got it, I warned Kurt never to spill anything on it for fear that it would be stained for life and it would look awful. Accidentally he has moved the table a few times and spilled some coffee on it. And surprisingly with some paper towel, it comes right up. No stains either! So if you are on a fence about a rattan coffee table, I am actually pretty impressed with how easy they are to clean. And honestly the best part is that you can’t see the dust or dog hair on it!
So since my coffee table is no longer available, I wanted to share some coastal coffee tables that I’ve found. Honestly, I think all of these would look great in my space. So if you have a living room vibe similar to mine- these are all great choices!
