Lately, I have been shopping a lot at Madewell and for good reason! They have the most incredible clothing. Items are simple, but still on trend and very well made (maybe that’s where they get the name?!?). I have loved wearing their sweaters for a while now and so I decided to try out their denim. And I don’t know why I waited so long! Their jeans are the ones I now turn to every chance I get. And now I’m hooked!!!! It is so hard to find good denim under $150, but these are the best you are going to get!
First off the fit is so good. I don’t know about you, but I can never find that. If they fit in the butt area they don’t fit in the waist and vice versa. But every pair I’ve tried on thus far fit in ALL the areas!! And they have a ton of washes, sizing (short, tall, taller) curvy fit, etc. You can get classic pairs of denim, distressed denim, mid rise, high rise- the list goes on! Another reason I love them is that they have trendy denim like this pair that I would never spend $200+ on. But you can try them out for a fraction of the cost. And when the trend dies, you can thank yourself for not spending a ton of money on them! I will say that their denim doesn’t have a ton of stretch too them, but I somehow don’t mind. They make you feel sucked in, but are still very comfortable. Which is something that I think everyone is looking for when they seek out a ton of stretch in their denim.
Madewell has so many new pairs out right now for Spring. And hats off to them for showcasing more curvy models on their website. Just another reason to love Madewell :). I know I don’t need another pair of white denim, but after loving every pair I’ve tried so far, I’m SOOO tempted to purchase these.
Have you tried Madewell denim yet?
