It’s no surprise here that I love to shop and that I preferably like to shop online. There is something that gets me so irritated these days about shopping in stores! They never have the size or color I need in anything. And there is such a bigger selection online. Then don’t even get my started about waiting in lines. I hate waiting for the sales associate to ring me up or for a dressing room. And then people are always way.too.slow. I can’t take it!! Maybe it’s because I’m always in a hurry, but I get more stressed shopping than anything else. Isn’t it suppose to be fun?!?! Here are my favorite online shopping websites and some new ones that I’ve found recently. I also have some websites that I just like to ‘browse’ on because I can’t afford anything lol.
1. Nordstrom
It should be no surprise that Nordstrom is my #1. They have EVERYTHING and I do mean everything. From designer to budget friendly, to makeup, shoes, jeans, etc. The list goes on. My favorite part is that they have super fast shipping, no return limit and free shipping on everything, even if you buy a $5 item. Not to mention all the perks you get. If you are a cardholder, you get early access to their yearly Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and get points every time you purchase. Those points add up and eventually you get a gift certificate to spend in store. It’s free money! I look at their New Arrivals page almost daily. They also have impeccable customer service. If you ever love something and it’s sold out online, call the store and they will track it down for you. They are simply amazing!
2. J.Crew
Another favorite retailer of mine is J.Crew. I love their simple, basics that are perfect for work and weekend. They offer free shipping on orders over $150 or it is only $5 under $150, which really isn’t that bad. I always wait until they have at least 25% or 30% off their site to make my purchases. Gotta love a good sale!
3. Shopbop
I know you’ve heard me talk about this online retailer a lot because they have sales twice a year that are simply amazing (check out my last post here). A lot of their stuff is super expensive, but they also have affordable and chic brands like English Factory and BB Dakota. They don’t have any stores, so it can be super annoying if you don’t like what you ordered. But they have the best customer service. I had an issue a few weeks ago with my return. My building sent it out, but the tracking never registered, so it looks like the package got lost. I was bummed because it was kind of a lot of money. So, I called customer service to see if there was anything they could do and they immediately refunded my money. No questions asked! They also have extremely fast shipping. Most times your order ships out the day after you place your order! This is another retailer that I like to browse their New Arrivals daily!
4. Madewell
I’ve had a serious crush on everything Madewell lately. Truthfully, I love to browse their website, but most times I buy my Madewell items from Nordstrom because the shipping is free. Although items sell out crazy fast on Nordstrom’s site. So if that’s the case and I really want something, I will place an order.
5. Tuckernuck
This is a new website for me and I am obsessed! They have some very cute preppy looks that I am loving. I bought this dress to wear to our trip to Florida. But sadly it came too late 🙁 And now I’m hooked. I really want these earrings!!
6. My Theresa
I mainly use this site to browse because they sell designer items. But I have found so many unique color ways and items that I don’t see in department stores. I’ve never ordered from them, but they have created a lot of hype lately. They are based overseas and apparently you still get your order in about three days- that’s INSANE!
Ok a little funny story. I’ve had my eye on these over priced sandals for a while now. Randomly, when we were in Palm Beach, I walked into the Valentino store and they had a pair IN the color I wanted on display. Without question, I asked the sales associate if I could try them on and she looked at me with a sad face and said that was her last pair in a size 5. I was crushed! And even worse, she told me that color was discontinued! So, you can imagine my surprise when I was browsing My Theresa and saw the exact style and color I want!!!! I still need to make sure I like them (I’ve never tried them on) and also what size I need and if I really want them. Because it sounds like you can only exchange items and not return them. So, you need to make sure you’re in LOVE with something before you buy from here.
