Today I wanted to share what is on my home décor wish list. They are items that have caught my eye and I eventually plan on adding to my home! Or things that I just love that I feel like I need to share, but don’t necessarily have a place for them in my home. I did a post similar to this one last December (read it here) and it was fun to share, so I thought I would do it again!

Home Décor Wish List
Custom Curtain– I got a sample of this fabric and I absolutely love it! And I think eventually I am going to use this fabric for curtains in my dining room. I think it would tie in all of my colors and look really nice. Plus, this company does custom lengths so no hemming!
Picture Light– I’ve been wanting a picture light to hang above this piece of artwork that I have hanging in my dining room. I think it would just tie it all in nicely. I wouldn’t have it hardwired because that just seems like a process, so I need to find one that runs off of a battery operated lightbulb. But to be honest, I don’t think I would ever turn it on anyway. I really just want it for looks!
Book– I really want this book as I’ve heard really great things about it. It was featured in my play room design post here. I just haven’t bought it yet! Sloane also loves to read and flip thru all of my coffee table books, so I think she would really enjoy this one too.
Rattan Sideboard– Is this not gorgeous?! And you will not believe that this sideboard is only $300 for both pieces (one piece is only $140). I have had my eye on this one for years, but I don’t think I would ever pay that much for something like that. So this is a really similar option at a much better price. The problem is I don’t really need it haha. I currently have this underneath our TV in our playroom. And while I do love it and it has held up really nicely, it is too small for the TV. This one is much larger and I measured- and it’s perfect! I’m trying to only buy stuff right now that I really need, so I am going to have think about this one!
Cooler– I think this would be so useful for our patio to put drinks in when we are entertaining. Eventually I want to buy this because it would just be so convenient when we have people over!
Green Pillow– I just adore this fabric so much! I ordered a sample of it and it is even prettier in person. My plan is to have two pillows made for my new blue chairs in our play room. The one thing I can’t decide on for this room is if I should buy lumbar pillows or 18×18 pillows. They do have free design services, so I might email them and ask before I place my order. Eventually I would love to have curtains made from this fabric too. But we have a HUGE window at the back of the room, so I’m sure it would be $$$. Add it to the wish list haha.
White Pillow– I’ve had my eye on these pillows to add to our living room. I love decorative pillows haha. My only hesitation with these is what size to order?! I need figure it out soon because they look like they are selling fast.
Gold Lamp– I adore this lamp so much but have no idea where I would put it. It looks almost exact to a very expensive one. But this one is a lot more affordable. I keep thinking about it so I might just have to order it and find a spot for it later. I’m a firm believer that when you love something, you just gotta make it work!
Burlwood Console– And this is another piece that I keep coming back to. We have this sort of weird, dead space in our living room. Right now, I have an old armoire there that I refuse to part with. It was part of my bedroom furniture I had growing up and I love it. The problem is there is no place for it in our new home. But I don’t want to get rid of it because it is great storage and a really nice piece of furniture. Anyway, where the armoire is now, I think I want to add this console table with a mirror or piece of art, lamp, accessories, etc. I adore the burlwood trend and this console is a really affordable piece. Burlwood is usually a lot more expensive.
Rug– I’ve been on the hunt for a new rug for my entryway. The one I originally had, I moved into my kitchen (which looks great there by the way!). I love that it ties in all of my colors of my home- beige, blue, green & pink!
Side Table– I’ve had my eye on this side table for a few months now. I plan to add it to this little nook I have in our living room next to this chair. Black kind of scares me but I really like the shape of the table. So if I end up not liking the black in my space, my plan is to add a little rub and buff to make it gold. I’ve never used it before, but I’ve seen a lot of people use it and I’m always amazed at the before/after photos.
Mini Desk– I plan to add a little desk/makeup station to our bedroom. Kurt and I share an office which works most of the time. But when I have meetings, I sit on my bed and it’s just not that comfortable. I think I would like to have a flex space in our home that I could work in on some days. And I also thought I would use it as a makeup station. Our bathroom has really poor lighting especially in the winter time. So I would add my make up and mirror and make it look cute! I have the bigger version of this desk from West Elm, but this one is a steal at under $100.
