I’m super excited for today’s post! Recently, I’ve been doing a ton of online shopping for Fall and I wanted to share my try-on session with you. In all honestly, I bought way too much so I won’t be keeping it all. But I thought I would share it all just in case something caught your eye. I always love seeing these from other bloggers because I think you get a much better idea of what items really look like in person and how they would style them. So I find these to be very helpful. I’ve also been shopping for a little bit of everything- work outfits, casual outfits, boots, outerwear and more. Anyway, lets get into it!
Fall Try-On Session
Sweater (sized up to a small) | Jeans (tts) | Shoes
…
This sweater is just so cute. It’s really lightweight so it’s perfect for this crazy in between weather we have been having lately. And I love that it can be worn for date night or to the office.
Top (size xs)
…
I had high expectations for this top, but I just didn’t like it on me when I received it. First off, I thought the color was red and its more of an orange color in person. It’s just a little too low cut on me, especially for work. And I usually stay away from v-neck tops for this reason. I wanted to love this, but I will be sadly returning it.
Blazer (size 4) | Top (size xs) | Pants (tts, size 4)
…
I have been on a major blazer kick lately and had to include on in this try-on session. And I love how preppy this one is! I was also looking for some dressier tees to wear underneath my blazers and coats and I really like this one. It has these cute gold buttons on the sleeve that you can’t see. So if you get hot and need to take off your blazer, you still look dressy for the office. And green is a huge color trend this Fall so I’m loving these pants.
…
I’m usually not much of a skirt person, but I wanted to try some this Fall. And with leopard being such a huge trend this Fall, I knew I had to try this one! And I think it’s so cute. The fit is so comfy and it’s still classy looking despite the edgier pattern.
Top (size 4) | Pants (size 4) | Shoes
…
If your office is a little more edgy, I higher recommend these suede pants. They are so comfy and fit so well. And they would look adorable with an oversized sweater!
…
This is an adorable skirt but it is a hard no for me. I just didn’t feel like myself in it. But it would look super cute on someone else.
Coat (size small, runs large)
…
This coat looks adorable online so I decided to try it out. And while I think its super cute, its just not me at all. And it does run big. I’m wearing a small, but if I were to keep it, I would exchange it for an xs. So I would say size down.
Top (size xs)
…
Green is a huge color this fall, so I had to try the trend out. This is such an easy blouse to throw on with black pants for work or jeans for date night. It has a super cute tie back too that’s not pictured.
Top (size 4) | Pants (size 4) | Shoes
…
I really wanted a pair of corduroy’s for fall and decided to try this pair out. And they are fantastic. They fit me so good and are so comfortable. They don’t get very favorable reviews online, but I really really liked how they fit me.
Top (size small) | Jeans (size 26)
…
Madewell is one of my favorite places to shop for jeans. They fit incredibly well. No gaps in the waist or stretching out horribly after one wear. And they are rather affordable. I really wanted to a pair of the button front jeans and here we are. I think these are a must for Fall and one of my favorites from the try-on session! And I like that these are trendy for Fall, but still work appropriate, so I know I will wear them a lot.
Top (size small) | Jeans (size 26)

Another fall must for me is a pair of black coated denim jeans. They look so sharp and add a little something special to any outfit. And they are my go to’s for a dressier look during the winter months. They look more special than just a regular pair of jeans. I have a pair from Madewell, but I think I shrunk them and they just don’t fit that well anymore. I would feel better in them if they were size bigger. So I decided to try this pair and also another pair below to compare.
I am not really a fan of this year’s coated denim by Madewell. They have way too much sheen for me and they are too glossy looking. They are super lightweight though which makes them very comfortable to wear.
Top (size small) | Jeans (size 26)
…
This is the second pair of coated denim jeans that I bought to compare for this try-on session. And I have to say I like this pair way more! I have a thing for Rag & Bone jeans. They seriously just fit so good. And while these are a huge splurge, I know I will wear them a lot this Fall/Winter. By the way they are 25% off thru Monday. So if you are thinking about them I would order them today. Prices go back up on Tuesday!
Top (size small) | Jeans (size 26)
…
Another super cute pair of button front jeans! These ones have a really cute frayed hem making them a bit more casual. And they have a tonnnn of stretch to them so they are uber comfy to wear. I really don’t need these, but I really, really like them.
Boots (tts)
…
I’ve been on the hunt for a tall brown boot that I could wear with skirts this Fall and I ordered this pair and the pair below to see which ones I liked better. Shockingly I liked the more inexpensive pair! These are a bargain, but they do not look cheap one bit! They are super comfy and I know I could wear them all day and not have sore feet by the end of the day.
Boots (tts)

I originally bought these thinking these were the ones I would keep, but I was very disappointed when I saw the color of them in person. They look very flat to me and I sadly am not that big of a fan of the color. Online they look like a very rich cognac color which is what I wanted. But this color looks sadly nothing like the image online. They are very comfortable though and well made. And I really like the wood heel.
…
See how cute these boots look with a skirt! I usually don’t wear skirts but I saw this skirt online an fell hard for it. I think this would make for the perfect Thanksgiving day outfit too (always thinking ahead haha)! It’s so classy. I do think the skirt runs on the smaller side. I sized up a 6.
Top (size xs) | Skirt (size 27)
…
I think this outfit is just too cute and one that is perfect to wear now that its still on the hotter side. The skirt does run a little small in my opinion. I bought my regular size and one size up and felt more comfortable in the size bigger. And this sweater is great basic. I plan to wear it layered under blazers and cardigans. I think I also need it in black! One of my favorite items from this try-on session 🙂
Coat (tts, wearing an xs)
…
I’m seriously in love with this jacket and its been on my list now since I first saw it. I wore this the other day when we took Addie for a long walk and it’s shockingly very warm. And I love that it can be casual, but would also look super cute with heels for a night out. One of my favorite items I’ve bought this Fall! Another favorite of mine from this try-on session and one that I am defiantly keeping.

And last, but not least! I told you I had a thing for corduroys this season and I wanted a pair of preppy green ones. This pair is so comfy and perfect for the office. I actually wore this outfit to work last week on one of the days it finally cooled down. And I was so excited for my outfit! And this sweater isn’t new, but I adore it! I grab for this one on so many occasions that it has become a staple in my wardrobe.
And there you have it!! Did you find anything from the try-on sessions that you just had to have? Hopefully you did!
