A few weeks ago we celebrated Sloane’s third birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party! Everything turned out really cute and she had a blast. We decided that now since she has a few friends from daycare that we would throw her first friends party. And I’m so glad I decided to do that! We invited her whole class and while a lot of kids didn’t show up, it was so nice to get to meet the ones that did. We were all able to chat, exchange numbers, get to know the kids. Plus everyone had a really good time!
Minnie Mouse Themed Birthday Party

I tried to keep things simple haha but I love decorating and hosting so while it wasn’t completely over the top, I did have to add a few fun touches. I make a balloon garland every year for Sloane’s birthday and this year I made this one. To make it more on theme, I also added this cute Minnie Mouse banner. She loves playing with the balloons and it makes for a cute backdrop for pictures.
Party Dress
She wore the most adorable dress- I got it here! I love their clothing so much. She loved being able to twirl in it too.
Food
As far as food, we kept it simple and served pizza and salad that we got locally. I cut up some strawberries and blueberries and had some carrots and cucumbers out. I also made this dip, but there was a lot leftover so I don’t think anyone really ate it. It was really good though so I will make it again.
Dessert
Cupcake Toppers | Cupcakes | Candle | Platter | Cake Stand | 3 Tier Sweet Stand | Tablecloth
For dessert, we had cupcakes that I got from Sam’s Club. This is my new party hack because they were really good and so inexpensive! I was able to get 30 cupcakes for only $16- which is such a good deal. I ordered them online and I was able to customize them. You can pick your flavor, frosting color and what color sprinkles you want. I kept things simple and got half chocolate, half vanilla with white frosting (no sprinkles). To jazz them up I added these cupcake toppers and got Sloane’s this candle to blow out. Will 100% be buying these again from Sam’s Club.
Micky Mouse Cookie Cutter Set | Cellophane Bags | Ribbon
I made Rice Krispies treats for the kids to take home instead of doing a goody bag. I used this cookie cutter and then wrapped them in cellophane and added a ribbon. They turned out really cute!
Activities
It was a warm day so we were outside most of the time. The kids had a kiddie pool, bounce house, sprinkler, chalk, basketball hoop and the rest of Sloane’s outdoor toys to play with. My mom gave us a white tent similar to this that we set up. And I ended up ordering these folding chairs. We host so much and always need extra seating, even indoors. We always borrow from his mom or aunt but it’s annoying haha so it was time for us to invest in our own set.
My husband is randomly really good at chalk art, so I had him draw Minnie Mouse!
Happy birthday to my little 3 year old!
