Today I’m sharing with you my fall wish list! This is always sort of fun for me to put together. And it actually helps me each season when I do this because I narrow in on items I know I will get a ton of wear out of, items that already work with my current wardrobe and gaps I need to fill in my closet.
The weather here in Chicago has been perfect! I absolutely love this time of year. It gets chilly at night so you can sleep with the windows open (my favorite), but the sun still shines during the day and it warms up nicely. The other night we slept with with windows open and it got so cold at night that we had to turn the heat on for a bit in the morning. Luckily, we have a really warm down comforter that I snuggle up in. It makes for the best sleeping weather.
I am such a fall lover and I don’t think that will ever change! Fall has always been my season so I’m excited to share with you my fall wish list. You will see a lot of sweaters and shoes with a few accessories because those are the items I love to shop for. And are items that really can change up your wardrobe season after season in my opinion. My denim situation are pairs that I have owned for years. If you love a pair, why change it if its not broken, right?!

…
Camel Sweater– Now this sweater is quite the splurge and I don’t think I could ever spend that much on a sweater. But I have been lusting after this one hard core for a while now. And I know its one of those sweaters that I would pull out year after year and still get excited to wear it. Maybe I will save all of my birthday money this year?! hahah
Golden Goose Sneakers– I absolutely LOVE my Golden Goose sneakers (read about them here). One of the best splurge purchases I have ever made. Currently I wear them almost daily so I have absolutely gotten my money’s worth. And not to mention how comfortable they are. I don’t have a pair of the mid-rise version and I have been eyeing this pair. You all know my love for all things nude so these just seem fitting!
Hunter Green Boots– I think these are just adorable for fall. Throw on a Barbour jacket and a cable knit sweater and you have yourself one preppy outfit for fall.
Black Oversized Sweater– I actually bought this sweater last year and ended up returning it. And I regretted it ever since and of course it sold out! This year I was not about to miss out so I’ve actually already ordered this one. It is perfectly oversized and looks great with leggings, which I am always struggling to find longer sweaters to wear with my leggings.
Leopard Sneakers– My new obsession with athletic sneakers is this brand- APL. Wow. They are make every color you can imagine and they are insanely comfortable. I bought a white pair in the spring and they have easily become my most worn pair of shoes (maybe because we go on so many walks?!). I’m loving this leopard pair for fall- would look adorable with an all black outfit.
White V-neck T-shirt– I own this t-shirt in the crewneck version and I am so impressed with it. My girlfriend and I were chatting about this brand the other day and how amazing it is (I also own the long sleeve version too) and she mentioned her v-neck tee. And I don’t know why but I didn’t even realize it came in a v-neck. This one is a no brainer for me! I will wear it a ton with under jackets, blazers, cardigans.
Dudley Stephens Fleece– This fleece has been on my wish list for years….years! I can’t ever get over how expensive they are! But I have never seen anything else like it so I actually ordered this the other day in the color natural blush. I will make sure to report back on this item and let you know if its worth the price tag. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about them so I’m sure I will be obsessed.
Tory Burch Combat Boots– I am here for the combat boot trend and these are right up my alley. They are still on trend but are on the preppier side so I feel like I can still be trendy, but I won’t lose my personal style. I picture this with a cable knit sweater and light colored jeans. I’m in love!
Navy Coated Denim Jeans– I love coated jeans for the fall and winter time frame. They add this extra element that is unexpected. In the winter months, a pair of coated jeans with a sweater and heels is my go to for date night. I have a black pair I wear all the time, but I am loving this navy color (I know it looks black in the photos, but they are a deep navy-swoon).
Cashmere Scarf– I have been eyeing this scarf for years now, but I’ve never been able to get over the price so it will likely stay on my wish list haha. I have also been eyeing this more affordable version here.
Dr. Marten’s Boots– These combat boots are probably something you would never think I would like but I have been obsessing over them lately. The other night I went down a google rabbit hole trying to find outfits to wear with these. And I think I fell more in love with them. They look really cute with leggings and an oversized sweater and once you break them in, I hear they are really comfy. I really think I can pull these off!
Tory Burch Crossbody Bag– I am need of a black crossbody bag so I have been keeping my eyes open for one. And this one has caught my eye! I love how structured it is.
Grey Sweater– This is another sweater that I missed out on last year and it sold out in my size before I could get it. So I am determined to own this sweater this year (I actually ordered it the other night already!). I love the oversized fit of it. It just screams cozy. I also really like the tan color too.
