I have been living lately in this cashmere sweater under $100 and for good reasons. It’s chic, fits well and goes with just about everything. I wear mine all the time to work, with jeans, on date night and even casual with leggings. It literally goes with anything and everything. I have been wearing it so much that I recently just bought the same sweater in grey!
I was first turned on to the brand Everlane by a fashion blogger I’ve been following lately- Fashion Jackson. Do you follow her? She is so chic and trendy in dressing, but she is also awesome at buying basics and mixing and matching all of the items in her wardrobe. I also love that she actually wears her items multiple times. So many times you will see a blogger wear a cute top or sweater and then you never see it again. Amy (the blogger behind Fashion Jackson) actually wears her pieces again and again, which I think fits perfectly into real life. When you buy a sweater, you want to be shown how to wear it different ways. And she does such a good job at that!
This sweater is one of her go to’s and she wears it all the time. So after seeing her style it over and over- I had to get my hands on one! And it’s defiantly become a new staple on my closet. And at $100, that is a very reasonable price. Cashmere sweaters are expensive for good quality. I’m talking upwards of $200. But they will last you forever. And the best part about cashmere is it keeps warm in the winter without being itchy or too bulky. And this sweater will easily take you thru the chilly spring months and even look cute with shorts on a chilly summer night. Trust me when I say- you will wear this a ton!
After discovering Everlane, I’ve now become obsessed with their site. They do basics really, really good. And they are items in your closet that you will turn to over and over again. I’ve bought a few sweaters here and there and they have easily become my favorite go to’s in my closet (remember this post on this sweater?). I will mention that the one downfall is their shipping. It takes foreverrrrrr to finally get your package. In the world of Amazon and getting shipments two days after you place an order, this is really annoying to me. So you just have to be patient and know that you won’t get your package for about two weeks after you place an order.
And if you don’t buy more than two items you will actually pay for shipping. I’ve paid many times for shipping, but now I’ve gotten smarter. I just bought this long sleeve tee and it’s amazing. I want it now in every color because it looks so cute with leggings and casual with jeans and sneakers. These are cheaper items so they are perfect to add onto your order just to get the free shipping. And I know I can always use a new white tee!
