Now that I’ve had my Senreve Mini Maestra for a few months now, I really feel like I can give you a full handbag review on this item. It has defiantly been one of my go to bags as of lately. And one that I want to style all the time! I mean look at how beautiful it is, but we will get in to that 🙂
It was over the summer that I remember seeing a lot of my favorite bloggers carry this new handbag by a brand called Senreve. And I was immediately drawn to it. The more I saw it, the more I loved it! And I watched how they styled it so many different ways and how the bag was so functional in all aspects of their lives. I was lusting over it hard core. But to be honest, I was still a little nervous about ordering it from such a new site. I wanted to feel it, carry it, love on it and look at it in person. And what if I ended up hating it and had issues returning it? Not to say at ALL that their site is not safe. I just get a little weird sometimes about ordering from new sites I’ve never ordered from, especially paying that kind of money.
Then one day, I was browsing the Nordstrom site like I do on the daily and realized they were now carrying this new brand!!! And another one of my favorite online retailers, ShopBop, also had it! At that point, I knew I had to order the bag. It was around the time of my birthday and I slyly sent a picture of it to Kurt, asking for it as a birthday present. He immediately noticed I cropped out the price tag. I wanted him to love it just as much as I did, without saying no right away! I was really only half joking when I sent it to him because we aren’t a presents giving kind of couple. A few more days passed and I couldn’t stop thinking about it! That’s when I knew I had to have it. So, I ordered it as my birthday gift to myself!
Ok, now I knew I wanted the bag and I knew I wanted the mini vs. the regular size. The bigger bag looked a little bulky for me and I was going to wear mine as a bag on the weekends and out to dinner, so I didn’t need the space for my laptop. But I was so torn on what color to get! Black was classic and the easy choice, white is perfect for the Spring and Summer time. Or did I want to go more trendy with blush pink? I took a poll on Instagram stories and almost everyone voted black. I knew in my gut I wanted white and I’m so glad I went with this color! Shockingly I don’t wear a lot of black, so I wanted something I knew I would wear often. White has proven to be super stylish even in these winter months. And I’ve gotten so many compliments on being so daring with it this time of year!
So, we all know by now that the bag is super cute but is is also extremely functional. It has a ton of little pockets inside and so many pouches that make it so convenient to use. I always know where everything is inside my bag when I open it because there are so many compartments I can stick stuff in. And the the designers didn’t stop at the insides. The straps adjust so you can wear the bag multiple ways. My favorite is to carry it by the top handle and let the strap hang. But you can also wear it like a cross body and it converts into a backpack!! I know I will wear it like a backpack so much as the weather starts to warm up.
Overall, I am so incredibly happy with my birthday present to myself 🙂 What do you like most about the Mini Maestra?
