After I shared some ideas in this post here about Valentine’s Day gift ideas for toddlers, I was in Target and ended up grabbing some of these gifts for Sloane. So I thought I would share what I actually got her for the holiday. Just a few things to make the holiday special and show her how much we love her! I did also order this balloon garland which I think is going to be my thing moving forward. I’ve made them for her birthday parties, NYE and now Valentine’s Day and she loves to play with the balloons. This one is only $10 so I thought why not! They really don’t take long to put together- maybe an hour or so. This electric pump is key! Without it, it would take forever!
My plan is to also tie some cute pink bows on my chandelier kind of like I did over Thanksgiving and Christmas, make heart shaped pizza for dinner and eat off our heart plates 🙂 Anyway, I thought I would show you what I ended up buying for her Valentine’s Day gift basket.
What I Put in Sloane’s Valentine’s Day Gift Basket
Heart Basket– I grabbed this adorable heart basket to put everything in. I also thought she would like to play with it after the holiday too. She can put her toys in it and carry it around. If you have a boy or don’t want pink, this red one is really cute too.
Bananas For You Book– This is such a cute book! The illustrations are adorable. I randomly grabbed this when I was in Target and had to get it!
Valentine’s House Kit– This was only $4 and will give us (hopefully) a solid hour of fun! She loved decorating her gingerbread house over Christmas so I thought this would be cute for a morning of fun.
Slap Bracelets– Sloane’s cousin gave her a slap bracelet once and she just loves it. So I know she will have a lot of fun with these heart ones.
Valentine’s Bingo– Sloane loves matching games right now and also stickers so this is a really good combo for her! Another activity that we can do on the weekends to keep her busy!
Llama Stuffed Animal– She loves her stuffed animals and we don’t have a rainbow llama yet. I thought he was cute! haha
Valentine’s Craft Kit– Ok you are probably sensing a theme here but I got her a lot of things she could do over the weekends to keep her entertained haha. She loves to paint right now and this $5 kit will keep her busy for at least an hour (I hope!).
M&M’s– What would Valentine’s Day be without some candy?! She is a huge chocolate lover and loves M&M’s and I couldn’t resist these pink and red ones. They are individually wrapped so there is a stopping point haha and she can’t just keep eating them.
Heart Straw Cup- I grabbed this in the dollar section but this one and this one are similar. I always try to get her fun cups for the holidays!
Hopefully you got some cute and useful gift ideas for your toddler!
