How crazy is that in just a little over two weeks it will be Thanksgiving? AND then it will be Christmas. I think we are all a little thrown off this year because it was so warm this Fall. We really got spoiled. And then bam, out of no where the holidays hit!
So to help you prepare for the holiday in a couple of weeks, I thought I would share with you two Thanksgiving outfit ideas that I might wear. I always like to dress nice but I also want to make sure my outfit is casual, cozy and comfy. And that there is plenty of room to eat all of the delicious food! Every year we spend Thanksgiving with Kurt’s family and they are obsessed with taking photos! I guess that is where Kurt gets his photography skills! 🙂 But I always try to dress nicer because I know there will be tons of pics. And I don’t want to look back years later and think- ‘What was I thinking?’
Outfit #1- Cashmere Sweater & Black Jeans
Top: J.Crew | Bottoms: Citizens of Humanity | Shoes: Stuart Weitzman | Bag: Tory Burch | Earring: Nordstrom | Watch: Shinola | Lips: Nars Lipstick Pencil in Damned with Nars Audacious Lipstick in Charlotte

This is most likely what I will wear for the holiday. This outfit is perfect because you still look nice and dressed up but it is super comfy! My black jeans are one of the softest pair of jeans that I own. And they are super stretchy, so if I eat too much turkey there will be room to expand haha. And I am re-wearing a new sweater that I got (you can see it in this post too). I mentioned here that I want to start re-styling some of my favorite pieces in my closet to show how you can wear them multiple ways.
Outfit #2- Plaid Ruffle Top & Dark Denim
Top: Nordstrom (on sale!!!!) | Bottoms: Rag & Bone (on sale!!!) | Shoes: Christian Louboutin, lower price version here | Earrings: Nordstrom | Lips: MAC Creme Cup

I love this top and love how festive it is! I paired it with my new heels to feel more dressed up, but you could easily wear flats or your tall boots for a more casual look. This outfit will be great if it is a little warmer on Thanksgiving. You never know what the weather is going to be like. I am the first one who is always cold, but when you get around all of your family and a little wine in you, it tends to get warm. And this top can easily take you thru the holiday season. How cute would it be with red lips?!?! #love
What do you plan on wearing for Thanksgiving? I would love to know!
