I went to shop the Sephora sale on Friday when the sale started and couldn’t figure out why the code wasn’t working for me. And then I realized I dropped to the lower tier in my status ๐ So I couldn’t place an order until today and I only got 15% off vs. 20% which really isn’t that big of a deal but I like my savings haha. I guess I haven’t been buying as much beauty products as I have in the past. Maybe it’s just me getting older, but I’ve noticed that I like what I like these days and I’m not chasing after the newest and greatest product. Plus, I cleaned out my cabinet a few months ago and got rid of SO much stuff. Like an insane amount of stuff. It’s so wasteful. So I have been really good about only buying (and trying) stuff I really need.
Current Products I Own
The photo above are some of my favorites from my current makeup routine. I love this blush so much! It is highly pigmented so you really don’t need a lot. I have it in shade She’s Giving and it’s a really pretty punchy pink. I am dying to try the new shade Just Enough but it’s been sold out ๐ I like that this is a powder and cream blush all in one so it takes the guess work out of matching colors. I’ve found that using both kinds of products really helps your blush to stay all day long- a must!
I also adore this brush so much. I use it for almost all of my makeup. Foundation, blush, highlight. When I travel for a short weekend away, this is the only brush I need to bring. It does it all!
And this powder, mascara and foundation have been staples for me for years. The mascara is the absolute best and gives you super long lashes and it’s really buildable. I’ve tried others over the years and always come back to this one. It’s just so good. This foundation is the best if you are looking for a natural, dewy look. Sometimes I think when I first put it on it doesn’t look like I have anything on. But that’s the beauty of it. It is so natural looking. And when you are done with your makeup, you look like you, but better. I always buy the small bottle because it’s lasts me forever.
