And finally, we made it to Friday. Cheers to that! It’s kind of funny how I named my blog Cashmere & Jeans, but yet, I spend the majority of my time NOT wearing denim. But that doesn’t change my love for it! Today, I thought I would give you some ideas on what to wear to work this Spring.
You’v heard me talk about this before, but my office is business casual. And we are hardly ever allowed to wear jeans. Typically only about once a month. So I’ve built up a more professional wardrobe after being with my current company for three years now (time flies!).
This Spring, I wanted to give my wardrobe a mini refresh. I dressy pretty preppy every day and keep things conservative. You should hear all the talk in the office when I wear, gasp, ruffles or a bold lipstick hahaha. Once you add a lot of those basics into your closet, there is really no need to keep buying the same thing over and over. Except I am getting so sick and tired of going to the dry cleaners! Insert these pants. I throw them in the regular wash and use a light iron and viola, good as new. And not to mention they are so comfy to wear. They have a high waist which sucks you in and they hit at the perfect length. Originally I bought the khaki color and after wearing them one day, I immediately ordered the navy.
And you’ve seen these shoes all over my Instagram and also in this post and this post. They are perfect for work! They are a great height- not too high and not too low. And the closed toe makes them work appropriate. I like that the ties add a little sass to your outfit, but they aren’t overly sexy.
What do you typically wear to work every day?
