Has this not been the most unusual Fall? The weather is all over the place and I’m just waiting until I can actually wear some of my cozy sweaters and boots. I mean, I live in Chicago, not Texas. I’m not use to it still being warm this time of year. But I’m only half complaining because I know in January when the wind is blowing and there is a ton of snow on the ground, I will be thankful for this warmer climate!
Anyway, I know at some point it will actually cool down and you want to make sure you have your boots for Fall. My absolute favorite pair are my Tory Burch riding boots in the cognac. This will be year number three of me wearing them and I only think they get better with time. The distressing and wear on them only adds character. And I know these are an investment, but I wear them all time! I’m all about investing in pieces that will last a few years. And I’m already to season three and these guys won’t be going out of style anytime soon either. But I know not everyone can invest in pieces all the time, so here are some more budget friendly options:
And just a quick tip, if you have always been lusting after a pair of Tory Burch riding boots, I have some secrets for you. In July at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, a pair always goes on sale. If you shop this sale, make sure you have a Nordstrom Credit Card so you get early access. These boots go fast, so you will want to purchase them right when the sale starts. And in Fall and Spring, Tory Burch always has a sale that is 20-30% off the original price. If you need some tips on how to save for them, I love the app Digit, which helps me save for all of my splurge purchases. You can read more about that here.
This weekend, Kurt and I finally have time to go to the pumpkin patch. And I am so excited!!! It’s one of my most favorite Fall activities and we go every year. I can’t wait!!!! What are you up to this weekend?
